The Master Cam Thanh Lam came to the martial arts at the age of eight years attending for a short period judo. The twelve to fourteen practice a Karate School in VietNam.

He moved to Italy at the age of eighteen years knows the Master Tran Ngoc Dinh (now founder of the Viet Anh Mon), with whom he practiced, first taekwondo, then subsequently penetrate into the Federation Internationale Viet Vo Dao (Vietnamese constituted by the Federation of the Arts various teachers Vietnamese residents in Europe). He remained until the 6th degree black belt in the school led by the same teacher Kim Long Tran Ngoc Dinh; during this period, in parallel with the Vietnamese styles, he began the study of traditional Chinese styles.

In the early 90s rad returned several times in Vietnam in order to increase their technical knowledge. Introduced in the Chinese community in the district of Cho Lon (Big Market), had the opportunity to thoroughly practice the following styles: Bach Ich me with the Master, with the Mantis and Taichi teacher Sau Che, weapons and VoDang with Sifu Ta Nam. For his long experience and his extensive knowledge gained during those years on traditional Chinese styles, the community 'Chinese martial in VietNam gave him the nickname Thang Long (Ascending Dragon) and recognizes the right to teach and spread the martial styles Chinese.

In 1990 he began his teachings in Paullo, and then synthesizing its long journey of study and research, he decided to found, with his closest students, the school Thang Long Vo Dao where he worked with great passion for the dissemination and impiegno Sino-Vietnamese martial art. In 2010, the Master Cam Thanh Lam, in order to spread even further his knowledge in the world of martial arts in Vietnam and Sino-Vietnamese founded the new International School LANG VAN VO DAO.

  In 2011, continuing his intent to disclose more Vietnamese martial arts, he founded the VO DAI MON, the Great Gate of martial arts, which, however, abandoned in 2013, to devote himself entirely to the development and growth of his school. In fact, after much effort and sacrifice, the Van Lang Vo Dao, there is now, in addition to 'Italy but also in Spain and especially in different countries of North Africa: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia ... Currently, led the Van Lang Vo Dao to become a part of the International Federation Vo co Truyen Viet Nam.
